Stewart strikes deal with 'Merchant'

International News: Royal Shakespeare Co. prod'n runs from May 13 -- Patrick Stewart will return to the Royal Shakespeare Company to play Shylock in "The Merchant of Venice" from May 13 to Sept. 26, with a May 19 opening.
